Position: GROUP SALES EXECUTIVE 

Location: DUBAI

Core Responsibilities:

• Combining travel, accommodation, and services such as sightseeing arrangements to  create offers for Leisure Groups, Leisure Group Series, MICE, etc.

• Prepare the best suitable Itinerary (a planned route or journey) as per client requirements.

• Preparing Various Cost sheets as requested.

• Handling bookings, invoicing and issuing of tickets.

• Confirming customer names with airlines/hotels.

• Visiting Hotels to ascertain accommodation quality and suitability.

• Being aware of MICE-based hotels in UAE and other destinations as required.

• Liaising with internal and external suppliers and departments apart from coach operators, hoteliers.

• Ensuring agreed service levels, contracts and costs are adhered to.

• Confirming customer names with hotels.

• Collecting, evaluating and responding (as appropriate) to customer feedback.

• Using market research information to create new products from time to time.

• Producing mailers and flyers from time to time.

• Marketing holidays to clients via travel agents, websites, social media, etc. 

• Forecasting profits and / or number of bookings / pax.

• Working with travel consultants from different travel agencies to put holiday packages together.

 

Skills & Qualifications required:

A demonstrable interest in travel, Knowledge of key holiday destinations in UAE. 

• Proven experience of at least 2 years in the travel industry.

• Knowledge of suppliers and costs.

• Strong negotiation and closing skills with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets.

• Excellent communication skill.

• Analytical and data – driven approaches to sales.

• Ability to develop and implement sales strategies.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
